Blue Agate Cafe is a nicespot overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The flavors of the tacos were delicious. We ordered the pulled pork tacos and the fish tacos, and both were amazing. They each had terrific flavor profiles. The fries were crisp and crunchy as well. And the staff is very friendly and helpful. Check this place out.

Adorable little cafe. We had the crab cakes, the shrimp and crab melt, the chicken bacon melt. The apple Chantilly pesto was delicious and the sourdough bread had the most amazing cooked cheesey crust on it. Such great flavor in everything we had. I highly recommend this cute little cafe when in Oceanside!
My friend and I agreed that this was one of the best breakfasts we have had in a long time. I had the Pacific Omlette and my companion the Great White Burrito which was huge. Great place, can't recommend highly enough.
Excellent all around—especially the service! We had the Sandy, French toast, scrambled eggs and sausage. The food is VERY good, and the strawberry garnish on the plates is a very nice touch! You’ll want refills on the coffee too. Highly recommended!
Off-season at the coast. Breakfast at Agate on a Thursday. Warm welcome. Table with an ocean view. Great experience: matter-of-fact decor, including local historic photos and ocean-themed carvings and collectibles. Honest food. Diner coffee, bacon and eggs. Star of the meal: fried potatoes—sliced, made to order, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Will return for that reason alone. No alcohol, but the service, atmosphere, and thoughtfully prepared food made "no mimosas" no problem. First visit. Will go back for second.
